Sterling Silver Luckenbooth Brooch **New** (CA-B38)

Sterling silver luckenbooth brooch. The 'Luckenbooths' were small shops on Edinburgh's Royal Mile which made and sold jewellery. The luckenbooth brooch was given to a sweetheart as a love token and would later be pinned to a babies shawl for good luck. The traditional heart shape also symbolises the heart of midlothian.

Length approx 40mm.
