Hand drawn and printed on high quality paper using colour fast inks, the map features the heraldic crests of the following families :McCarthy, ODonoghue, Fitzmaurice,O`Sullivan, O`Shea, O`Connell, O`Connor. Miniature illustrations include The Gallarus Oratory, Ross Castle, Daniel O`Connell, Ardfert Cathedral, Skellig Michael and St Brendan the navigator. The main mountain ranges, rivers, glens, cities and towns are all shown alongside numerous places of historical interest. The map is a unique record of an area steeped in legend and history and once framed it will last for generations.
