Due to public demand, the crew of the famous Clyde puffer sail again on this hilarious DVD which is packed with many classic comedy situations from the vessel that was, according to her commander, 'the queen of her trade!' Starring Roddy McMillan as Para Handy and ably assisted by such comic stalwarts as John Grieve and Walter Carr, these episodes from the celebrated BBC series have the crew involved in various escapades like whisky smuggling, flogging headstones, sneaking off to wedding celebrations and generally avoiding anything remotely like hard work.



This was the best depiction of Neil Munro's characters immortalised in a string of rib-tickling short stories. If you liked the film 'The Maggie', which was roughly based on similar situations, then you will love this version of the tales that have stood the test of time.
